Chicken Strips
Dipping Sauce
Method
Preparing Chicken Strips
- 1
Cut the Chicken
Cut the boneless chicken breasts into strips, approximately 1 inch wide.
- 2
Set Up Breading Station
In three separate shallow dishes, place the all-purpose flour in one, beaten eggs in another, and breadcrumbs mixed with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika in the third.
- 3
Bread the Chicken
Coat each chicken strip in flour, shaking off the excess. Then dip into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing to adhere.
- 4
Heat Oil
In a large frying pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
- 5
Fry the Chicken Strips
Carefully add the breaded chicken strips to the hot oil in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.
- 6
Drain and Rest
Remove the chicken strips from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. Let them rest for a few minutes.
Preparing Dipping Sauce
- 7
Combine Ingredients
In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, ketchup, honey, mustard, and hot sauce (if using). Mix well until smooth.
- 8
Serve
Serve the chicken strips with the dipping sauce on the side.
