Chicken Preparation

Sandwich Assembly

Method

Chicken Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy. Remove and let them drain on paper towels, then chop into small pieces.

  2. 2

    Prepare Pulled Chicken

In a large bowl, combine the pulled chicken breast with chopped bacon and half of the pepper jack cheese. Mix well and set aside.

Sandwich Assembly

  1. 3

    Prepare Texas Toast

Spread butter on one side of each slice of Texas toast. Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat and grill the buttered side of the toast until golden brown.

  2. 4

    Assemble the Sandwich

On the non-buttered side of two slices of Texas toast, layer the pulled chicken mixture, followed by the remaining pepper jack cheese, lettuce, and sliced tomato. Top with a generous drizzle of garlic Parmesan sauce.

  3. 5

    Complete the Sandwich

Finish by placing the other two slices of Texas toast on top, buttered side up. Grill the assembled sandwiches until the cheese is melted and the bread is golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.

  4. 6

    Serve

Remove the sandwiches from the skillet, slice in half if desired, and serve warm with extra garlic Parmesan sauce on the side.
