Hot Dog Preparation
- 1
Wrap the Hot Dogs
Take each Black Angus hot dog and wrap it with two slices of jalapeño bacon, ensuring that the bacon covers the entire hot dog.
- 2
Secure the Bacon
Use toothpicks to secure the ends of the bacon, if necessary, to prevent it from unraveling during frying.
Queso Topping
- 3
- 4
Add Green Chilies
Stir in the diced green chilies and mix well. Remove from heat and set aside.
Pico de Gallo

- 6
Season the Mixture
Squeeze the juice of one lime over the chopped vegetables and add salt. Mix everything together and let it sit for at least 10 minutes to meld the flavors.
Frying
- 7
Heat the Oil
In a deep frying pan or pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches about 350°F (175°C).
- 8
Fry the Hot Dogs
Carefully place the wrapped hot dogs into the hot oil, frying them in batches if necessary. Fry for about 5-7 minutes or until the bacon is crispy and golden brown.
- 9
Drain and Serve
Remove the hot dogs from the oil using a slotted spoon and place them on paper towels to drain excess oil. Serve hot, topped with queso and pico de gallo.
