Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs for better flavor absorption and tenderness.

In a small bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and brown sugar. Rub this mixture generously over both sides of the ribs.

Wrap the Ribs
Wrap the seasoned ribs tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight for best results.

Preheat the Smoker
Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C) using your choice of wood chips for a smoky flavor.

Smoke the Ribs
Place the ribs in the smoker, bone side down, and smoke for 4-5 hours, maintaining a steady temperature. Add wood chips as needed to maintain smoke.

Wrap for Moisture
After 3 hours of smoking, wrap the ribs in aluminum foil to keep them moist and return to the smoker for an additional hour.

In a saucepan, combine ketchup, apple cider vinegar, honey, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook for 10 minutes, stirring regularly.
