1. Cook the Pasta

In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2. Cook the Bacon

In a skillet, cook the bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove from the skillet, crumble, and set aside while leaving the bacon drippings in the pan.

3. Make the Cheese Sauce

In the same skillet with the bacon drippings, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for about 1 minute. Gradually whisk in the milk, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens. Add the shredded cheddar, monterey jack, parmesan, and cream cheese, stirring until melted and smooth.

4. Combine Everything

Add the cooked macaroni to the cheese sauce. Stir in the crumbled bacon, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Mix until well combined.

5. Prepare for Baking

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer the mac and cheese mixture to a greased baking dish and sprinkle the top with bread crumbs.

6. Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
