Whole Bronzino Ingredients

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Bronzino

Rinse the branzino under cold water and pat it dry with paper towels. Season the inside and outside of the fish with salt and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Sauté Garlic and Tomatoes

In a large skillet or pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Then add the cherry tomatoes and cook for about 5 minutes until they start to soften.

  3. 3

    Add the Fish

Carefully place the seasoned branzino in the skillet with the tomatoes. Add the fish stock (or water) and red pepper flakes. Bring to a gentle simmer.

  4. 4

    Cook the Fish

Cover the skillet with a lid and let the fish cook for about 15-20 minutes, or until the flesh is opaque and flakes easily with a fork. If using a thermometer, the internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).

  5. 5

    Garnish and Serve

Once cooked, carefully transfer the fish to a serving platter. Spoon the tomato broth over the fish and garnish with fresh parsley and lemon slices. Serve immediately.
