Cooking Instructions
- 1
Make the Gnocchi
In a large bowl, combine ricotta cheese, flour, egg, and salt. Mix until a dough forms. If the dough is too sticky, add more flour as needed.
- 2
Shape the Gnocchi
On a floured surface, roll the dough into long ropes about 1 inch thick. Cut the ropes into 1-inch pieces. Optionally, roll each piece over the tines of a fork to create ridges.
- 3
Cook the Gnocchi
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the gnocchi and cook until they float to the top, about 2-3 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon and set aside.
- 4
Prepare the Lamb Sauce
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground lamb and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
- 5
Combine with Tikka Masala
Add tikka masala sauce and coconut milk to the skillet with the lamb. Stir and simmer for 10 minutes, allowing flavors to meld.
- 6
Combine Gnocchi and Sauce
Gently fold the cooked gnocchi into the lamb tikka masala sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.
- 7
Serve
Garnish with fresh cilantro and serve hot.
