Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Patty

In a mixing bowl, combine dry-aged Washugyu ground beef with salt and black pepper. Form the mixture into two equal patties.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patties

Preheat a skillet or griddle over high heat. Place the patties on the hot surface and smash them down with a spatula for about 10 seconds. Cook for 3-4 minutes on one side until a crust forms, then flip and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes for medium doneness.

  3. 3

    Assemble the Burger

Toast the burger buns lightly. On the bottom bun, layer the lettuce, followed by the cooked patty, sliced tomato, onion, and spoon the tomato-bacon jam on top. Finally, place the top bun and press down gently.

  4. 4

    Serve

Serve the Crossbreed Burger hot, with extra tomato-bacon jam on the side if desired.
