1. Prepare Tapioca Pearls
In a pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Add the tapioca pearls and cook according to the package instructions (usually about 30 minutes). Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.
2. Make Brown Sugar Syrup
In a separate saucepan, combine 1 cup of brown sugar with 1 cup of water. Heat over medium heat until the sugar dissolves completely, stirring occasionally. Once dissolved, remove from heat and let cool.
3. Combine Ingredients
Once the tapioca pearls are cooked, drain them and rinse under cold water. In a glass, add a few spoonfuls of the cooked tapioca pearls, then pour in the cooled brown sugar syrup. Add milk and a splash of vanilla extract. Stir well.
4. Serve
Add ice cubes to the glass and stir again. Serve with a wide straw and enjoy your Brown Sugar Milk Tea!
