Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prep the Vegetables

Wash all the vegetables thoroughly under cold water. Cut the broccoli into small florets, slice the bell pepper, julienne the carrot, and slice the zucchini into thin rounds. Trim the ends of the snap peas.

  2. 2

    Make the Sauce

In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, minced ginger, cornstarch, and water. Stir well until the cornstarch is completely dissolved.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Heat the Pan

In a large skillet or wok, heat a tablespoon of vegetable oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.

  2. 4

    Stir-Fry the Vegetables

Add the broccoli florets, bell pepper, carrot, snap peas, and zucchini to the heated skillet. Stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes, or until the vegetables are crisp-tender.

  3. 5

    Add the Sauce

Pour the prepared sauce over the stir-fried vegetables. Stir to coat evenly and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken slightly.

Serving

  1. 6

    Plate the Dish

Remove from heat and transfer the stir-fried vegetables to a serving platter. If desired, sprinkle with sesame seeds and sliced green onions for garnish.

  2. 7

    Serve

Serve the vegetable stir fry hot, either on its own or alongside rice or noodles.
