Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, honey, salt, black pepper, and chopped dill until well combined.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Salmon

Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag. Pour the marinade over the salmon, ensuring it's evenly coated. Let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.

Grilling

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 400°F or 190°C to 200°C).

  2. 4

    Grill the Salmon

Remove the salmon from the marinade and let any excess marinade drip off. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the grill grates. Grill for about 4-5 minutes on the first side.

  3. 5

    Flip and Finish Cooking

Carefully flip the salmon using a spatula and grill for an additional 4-5 minutes or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).

Serving

  1. 6

    Serve

Remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Serve hot, garnished with additional dill or lemon wedges if desired.
