Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Proteins

Cut the beef, pork, and chicken into thin strips, about 1 inch long.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Vegetables

Slice the water chestnuts, mushrooms, bamboo shoots, and carrots into thin strips.

  3. 3

    Make the Sauce

In a small bowl, mix the soy sauce, oyster sauce, water, cornstarch, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil until smooth. Set aside.

Cooking

  1. 4

    Heat the Oil

In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.

  2. 5

    Stir-fry the Proteins

Add the beef first, stir-frying for about 2-3 minutes until browned. Then add the pork and chicken, cooking for an additional 3-4 minutes until all proteins are cooked through.

  3. 6

    Add Vegetables

Add the prepared water chestnuts, mushrooms, bamboo shoots, and carrots to the skillet. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.

  4. 7

    Add the Sauce

Pour the sauce mixture over the stir-fried proteins and vegetables. Stir well to coat everything evenly and cook for an additional 2 minutes until the sauce thickens.

  5. 8

    Season

Add salt and black pepper to taste, stirring well to combine.

  6. 9

    Serve

Remove from heat and serve hot over rice or gluten-free noodles.
