Housemade Chocolate Liqueur

Prepare the Syrup
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine granulated sugar and water. Stir until the sugar is fully dissolved.

Add Cocoa
Once the sugar is dissolved, whisk in the unsweetened cocoa powder until smooth.

Cool and Flavor
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract. Allow the mixture to cool completely.

Combine with Vodka
Once cooled, add vodka and mix well. Pour into a bottle and refrigerate for up to a month.
Housemade Coffee Liqueur

Brew Coffee
Brew a strong cup of coffee using your preferred method.

Combine Ingredients
In a separate container, mix the brewed coffee, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until the sugar is fully dissolved.

Once the mixture is smooth, stir in vodka. Pour into a bottle and refrigerate for up to a month.

Mix the Cocktail
In a shaker, combine the housemade chocolate liqueur and housemade coffee liqueur with ice cubes.

Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds to chill the mixture.

Strain the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with chocolate shavings on top.
