Method
Patties
- 1
Prepare the Patties
In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
- 2
Form the Patties
Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into patties, about 1 inch thick.
- 3
Candied Bacon
- 4
Prepare the Candied Bacon
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.
- 5
Coat the Bacon
In a bowl, mix together brown sugar and maple syrup. Dip each bacon strip into the mixture, ensuring it’s well coated.
- 6
Bake the Bacon
Lay the coated bacon strips on the wire rack in a single layer. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until crispy and caramelized. Watch closely to prevent burning.
Honey Mayo

Make the Honey Mayo
In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise and honey together until smooth and well combined. Set aside.
