Method

Brewing Coffee

  1. 1

    Boil Water

Pour 12 cups of fresh water into a kettle or pot and bring it to a boil over high heat.

  2. 2

    Grind Coffee Beans

Measure 2 tablespoons of Goshen coffee beans and grind them to a medium-fine consistency using a coffee grinder.

  3. 3

    Brew Coffee

Once the water is boiling, remove it from heat and add the ground coffee to the water. Stir gently to ensure all coffee grounds are saturated.

  4. 4

    Steep Coffee

Cover the kettle or pot and let the coffee steep for 4-5 minutes, allowing the full flavor to develop.

  5. 5

    Strain Coffee

After steeping, strain the coffee through a fine mesh sieve or a coffee filter into a coffee pot or carafe, discarding the grounds.

Serving Coffee

  1. 6

    Sweeten Coffee

Pour the brewed coffee into cups and add 2 tablespoons of sugar to each cup, or to taste. Stir until dissolved.

  2. 7

    Add Milk and Flavor

Add 1 cup of milk and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract to the coffee, adjusting the amount of milk based on your preference for creaminess.

  3. 8

    Serve Hot

Serve the hot coffee immediately while it’s still warm. Enjoy your delicious Goshen coffee!
