Eggs

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Boil the Eggs

Place the eggs in a saucepan and cover them with cold water, ensuring there's about an inch of water above the eggs. Bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat.

  2. 2

    Cook the Eggs

Once the water reaches a rolling boil, cover the saucepan with a lid, remove it from heat, and let it sit for 12 minutes.

  3. 3

    Cool the Eggs

After 12 minutes, carefully transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water using a slotted spoon. Let them cool for about 5 minutes.

Filling Preparation

  1. 4

    Peel the Eggs

Once the eggs have cooled, gently tap them on the counter to crack the shell, then peel them under running water to help remove the shell easily.

  2. 5

    Slice the Eggs

Slice each egg in half lengthwise and carefully remove the yolks, placing them in a mixing bowl.

  3. 6

    Make the Filling

Mash the egg yolks with a fork and add the mayonnaise, yellow mustard, white vinegar, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth and creamy.

Assembly

  1. 7

    Fill the Egg Whites

Using a spoon or a piping bag, fill the hollowed-out egg whites with the yolk mixture.

  2. 8

    Add Toppings

Sprinkle the filled eggs with smoked paprika and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

  3. 9

    Serve

Arrange the deviled eggs on a serving platter and serve immediately or refrigerate until serving.
