Method
Cheese Preparation
- 1
Select and Arrange Cheeses
Choose a variety of cheeses that complement each other, such as Brie, Gorgonzola, and Cheddar. Slice the Brie into wedges, crumble the Gorgonzola, and cut the Cheddar into cubes or slices. Arrange the cheeses on a large serving platter.
Accompaniments Preparation
- 2
Prepare the Accompaniments
In small bowls, serve the local honey and fig jam. Rinse and pat dry the seasonal fruits, then slice them into bite-sized pieces if necessary. Arrange the fresh fruit around the cheeses on the platter.
- 3
Toast the Baguette
Slice the baguette into 1/2-inch thick pieces. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and spread the slices on a baking sheet. Bake for 5-7 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
