Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Mussels

Rinse the mussels under cold water, scrubbing the shells to remove any dirt. Discard any mussels that are open and do not close when tapped.

  2. 2

    Cook the Garlic

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.

  3. 3

    Add the Mussels

Add the cleaned mussels to the skillet and pour in the white wine. Stir to combine and cover the skillet with a lid. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the mussels have opened up.

  4. 4

    Season and Serve

Once the mussels are cooked, sprinkle with chopped parsley, salt, and pepper to taste. Serve hot with marinara sauce on the side or drizzle with additional garlic butter. Accompany with garlic bread.
