Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Preparation

Take the center cut ribeye steaks out of the refrigerator and let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking.

  2. 2

    Seasoning the Steaks

Rub both sides of the steaks with olive oil, then season generously with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Ensure that the seasoning is evenly distributed.

  3. 3

    Cooking the Steaks

Preheat a skillet or grill over high heat. Once hot, add the steaks and cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side. Flip the steaks and add butter and fresh rosemary to the pan.

  4. 4

    Basting

As the steaks cook on the second side (another 4-5 minutes), use a spoon to baste them with the melted butter and rosemary for added flavor.

  5. 5

    Checking Doneness

Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature. Cook until the desired doneness is achieved (130°F for medium-rare).

  6. 6

    Resting the Steaks

Remove the steaks from the heat and let them rest for about 5-10 minutes before slicing. This helps retain the juices.

  7. 7

    Serving

Slice the steaks against the grain and serve immediately, optionally garnished with additional rosemary.
