Jerk Shrimp Ingredients

Method

Cooking Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Shrimp

In a large bowl, combine flour, cornstarch, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Mix well. Toss the shrimp in the dry mixture until evenly coated.

  2. 2

    Heat the Oil

In a deep skillet or fryer, heat the oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).

  3. 3

    Fry the Shrimp

Carefully add the coated shrimp to the hot oil in batches, frying for about 3-4 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Remove the shrimp and drain on paper towels.

  4. 4

    Toss in JuJu Sauce

In a large bowl, toss the fried shrimp with JuJu sauce until they are thoroughly coated.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve the jerk shrimp with celery sticks and ranch dressing on the side for dipping.
