Burrata Preparation

Prepare the Filling
In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, salt, and pepper. Mix well and set aside.

Stuff the Mozzarella
Using a knife, carefully make a small slit in each mozzarella ball and fill them with the ricotta mixture.

Breading the Burrata
Dredge each stuffed mozzarella ball in flour, dip in beaten egg, and then coat with bread crumbs.
Frying

Heat the Oil
In a deep skillet, heat the oil over medium-high heat until hot.

Fry the Burrata
Carefully add the breaded mozzarella balls to the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.

Stir in fresh basil just before serving.

On a serving plate, spread a layer of marinara sauce, place the fried burrata on top, and serve with garlic bread on the side.
