Stir in the diced potatoes, chicken broth, salt, and black pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 15 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender.

Add the chopped clams and heavy cream to the pot. Stir well and simmer for an additional 5 minutes until heated through.
