Brownie Directions
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
- 2
Melt the Butter
In a medium saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
- 3
Mix Sugars and Eggs
Stir in granulated sugar and brown sugar into the melted butter until well combined. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
- 4
Combine Dry Ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
- 5
Combine Wet and Dry Mixtures
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
- 6
Add Chips and Nuts
Fold in dark chocolate chips and chopped walnuts until evenly distributed.
- 7
Bake
Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- 8
Cool and Serve
Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. Cut into squares and serve.
