Method

Seafood Preparation

  1. 1

    Steam the Crabs

In a large pot, bring water to a boil and add Old Bay seasoning. Place the hard shell crabs in a steaming basket above the boiling water. Cover and steam for about 15-20 minutes until the crabs turn bright red.

  2. 2

    Boil the Shrimp

In the same pot, after the crabs are done, bring the water back to a boil. Add the peeled and deveined shrimp and season with salt. Boil for about 3-5 minutes or until the shrimp are pink and opaque.

Ribs Preparation

  1. 3

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs. Rub the ribs with salt, black pepper, and a bit of Old Bay seasoning. Wrap in aluminum foil and place on a baking sheet.

  2. 4

    Bake the Ribs

Bake the ribs in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours until tender. Unwrap the ribs, brush with barbecue sauce, and place on a hot grill or broiler for an additional 10-15 minutes to caramelize the sauce.

Serving

  1. 5

    Plate the Platter

Arrange the steamed crabs, boiled shrimp, and ribs on a large serving platter. Serve with lemon wedges on the side for squeezing over the seafood.
