Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Start by peeling and deveining the shrimp if not already done. Chop the onion and mince the garlic.

  2. 2

    Heat the Oil

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat until shimmering.

  3. 3

    Sauté the Onion and Garlic

Add the chopped onion to the skillet and sauté for about 3-4 minutes until it becomes translucent. Then, add the minced garlic and sauté for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.

  4. 4

    Add the Shrimp

Season the shrimp with salt and black pepper. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for about 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they begin to turn pink.

  5. 5

    Pour in the PBR Beer

Pour the PBR beer into the skillet along with the Old Bay seasoning. Stir well to combine all ingredients.

  6. 6

    Simmer

Allow the mixture to simmer for about 5-7 minutes, or until the shrimp are fully cooked and the sauce has slightly reduced. The shrimp should be opaque and firm to the touch.

  7. 7

    Serve

Remove from heat and serve the shrimp immediately with lemon wedges on the side for squeezing over the top.
