Clean the Shrimp
Rinse the wild caught shrimp under cold water to clean. Remove shells and devein if not already done.

Prepare the Steamer
Fill a large pot with 2 cups of water and place a steamer basket inside the pot.
Cooking

Steam the Shrimp
Bring the water in the pot to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, add the cleaned shrimp to the steamer basket, sprinkle the Old Bay seasoning evenly over the shrimp, and cover with a lid.

Cook
Steam the shrimp for 3-5 minutes, or until they turn pink and opaque. Be careful not to overcook.
Serving

Plate the Shrimp
Carefully remove the steamer basket from the pot and transfer the shrimp to a serving platter. Optional: garnish with lemon wedges and chopped fresh parsley.
