Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Mixture
In a large mixing bowl, combine the jumbo lump crabmeat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, eggs, breadcrumbs, fresh parsley, salt, and black pepper. Gently mix until all ingredients are incorporated, taking care not to break up the crabmeat too much.
- 2
Form the Cakes
Using your hands, form the mixture into 6 equal-sized cakes, approximately 6 oz each. Place the formed cakes on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Cooking
- 3
Broil the Cakes
Preheat your broiler on high. Drizzle the crab cakes with olive oil and sprinkle with fresh lemon juice. Place the baking tray under the broiler and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and crispy.
- 4
Serve
Once the crab cakes are broiled to perfection, carefully remove them from the oven. Allow them to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce!
