Chicken

Focaccia Bread

Method

Chicken

  1. 1

    Prepare and Cook Chicken

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Season the chicken breasts with olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder on both sides. Place them in a baking dish.

  2. 2

    Bake Chicken

Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Remove from the oven and let rest.

Crab Imperial

  1. 3

    Prepare Crab Imperial Mixture

In a large mixing bowl, combine lump crab meat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, chopped green onions, paprika, and the beaten egg. Gently fold the mixture until just combined, being careful not to break up the crab meat.

  2. 4

    Top Chicken with Crab Imperial

Once the chicken has rested, spoon the crab imperial mixture generously over each chicken breast.

Focaccia Bread

  1. 5

    Prepare Focaccia

In a small bowl, mix softened butter with minced garlic. Spread this garlic butter mixture on one side of each focaccia slice.

  2. 6

    Toast Focaccia

Heat a skillet over medium heat. Place the focaccia slices buttered side down in the skillet and toast until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.

Assembly

  1. 7

    Assemble the Dish

Place a slice of toasted focaccia on a plate. Top with a baked chicken breast covered in crab imperial. Serve immediately.
