Snow Crab Legs

Method

Preparing the Steak

  1. 1

    Season the Steak

Generously season both sides of the New York Strip or Ribeye steak with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.

  2. 2

    Heat the Pan

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until shimmering.

  3. 3

    Cook the Steak

Add the seasoned steaks to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until your desired doneness is achieved.

  4. 4

    Add Rosemary

During the last minute of cooking, add fresh rosemary to the skillet to infuse the steaks with flavor.

  5. 5

    Rest the Steak

Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Preparing the Snow Crab Legs

  1. 6

    Prepare the Crab Legs

If the snow crab legs are frozen, thaw them under cold running water for about 10 minutes. If they are already cooked, you just need to heat them.

  2. 7

    Melt the Butter

In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Once melted, add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

  3. 8

    Add Lemon Juice and Seasoning

Stir in the lemon juice and Old Bay seasoning into the melted butter and garlic mixture.

  4. 9

    Heat the Crab Legs

In a large pot of boiling water, add the crab legs and boil for about 5-7 minutes until heated through.

  5. 10

    Serve

Remove the crab legs from the pot, plate them alongside the steak, and drizzle the garlic butter mixture over both.
