Preparation of Shrimp

Season the Shrimp
In a bowl, toss the peeled and deveined shrimp with olive oil and blackening seasoning until the shrimp are well coated.

Cook the Shrimp
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the seasoned shrimp. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until the shrimp are cooked through and charred, about 6-8 minutes total.

Combine Ingredients
In a medium bowl, mix together mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, hot sauce, lemon juice, minced garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper. Adjust seasoning to taste.

Prepare the Tortillas
Warm the corn tortillas in a dry skillet over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side until pliable.

Assemble the Tacos
On each tortilla, layer the cooked shrimp, shredded lettuce, diced tomato, and sliced onion. Drizzle with the spicy remoulade sauce.

Serve immediately with additional remoulade sauce on the side if desired.
