Method

Preparing the Beef

  1. 1

    Season the Beef

Rub the beef round roast with olive oil, then season generously with kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder on all sides.

  2. 2

    Grill the Beef

Preheat your grill to high heat. Once hot, place the seasoned beef round roast on the grill. Sear each side for about 4-5 minutes until a nice crust forms.

  3. 3

    Cook to Desired Doneness

Reduce the grill heat to medium and continue cooking the beef for about 25-30 minutes, turning occasionally, until it reaches an internal temperature of 130°F for medium-rare. Adjust the time for your preferred doneness.

  4. 4

    Rest the Beef

Remove the beef from the grill and let it rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing.

Preparing the Toppings and Sauce

  1. 5

    Slice the Onion

While the beef is resting, thinly slice the red onion and set aside.

  2. 6

    Make the Tiger Sauce

In a bowl, combine the horseradish, mayonnaise, hot sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and black pepper. Mix well until smooth and set aside.

Assembling the Dish

  1. 7

    Slice the Beef

Thinly slice the rested beef round roast against the grain into approximately 1/4 inch thick slices.

  2. 8

    Serve

On a serving platter, layer the sliced beef, top with the red onion slices, and drizzle generously with the horseradish tiger sauce. Serve immediately.
