Chicken Preparation
- 1
Season the Chicken
Rub the chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder evenly on both sides.
- 2
Cook the Chicken
In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the seasoned chicken breasts and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- 3
Melt the Cheese
In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of provolone cheese on each chicken breast and cover the skillet to help the cheese melt.
Bacon Preparation
- 4
Cook the Bacon
In a separate skillet, cook the bacon slices over medium heat until crispy, about 4-5 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.
Sandwich Assembly
- 5
Prepare the Bread
Slice open the sandwich rolls or burger buns and spread mayonnaise on the inside of both halves.
- 6
Layer the Ingredients
On the bottom half of each roll, place the cooked chicken with melted provolone, followed by crispy bacon, lettuce, and slices of tomato.
- 7
Add Hot Sauce
Drizzle hot sauce over the toppings according to your taste preference.
- 8
Complete the Sandwich
Top with the other half of the roll and press down lightly. Cut in half if desired.
