Prepare Coffee Mixture

Brew Coffee
Brew 2 cups of strong coffee and allow it to cool to room temperature. Mix in 1 tablespoon of coffee liqueur.
Prepare Cream Mixture

Whisk Egg Yolks
In a mixing bowl, whisk together 3 large egg yolks and 3 tablespoons of granulated sugar until the mixture is pale and creamy.

Add Mascarpone
Gently fold 16 oz of mascarpone cheese into the egg yolk mixture until smooth and well combined.

Whip Heavy Cream
In another bowl, whip 1 cup of heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture gently to maintain the fluffiness.

Add Vanilla
Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract to the cream mixture and fold it in gently.
Assemble Tiramisu

Dip Ladyfingers
Quickly dip 24 ladyfinger cookies into the cooled coffee mixture one at a time, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy.

Layer Tiramisu
In a rectangular dish, layer half of the soaked ladyfingers on the bottom. Spread half of the mascarpone cream mixture over the ladyfingers.

Repeat Layers
Add another layer of soaked ladyfingers followed by the remaining mascarpone cream mixture on top.
Chill and Serve

Chill Tiramisu
Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight for the best flavor.

Before serving, dust the top with 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder and add dark chocolate shavings.
