Taco Shells Preparation
- 1
Prepare Taco Shells
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the yellow corn taco shells on a baking sheet and bake for about 5-7 minutes, or until they are crispy and lightly golden. Remove from the oven and set aside.
Beef Filling Preparation
- 2
Cook the Ground Beef
In a large skillet over medium heat, add the dry-aged ground beef. Break it apart with a spatula and cook until browned, about 7-10 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
- 3
Season the Beef
Sprinkle the chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper over the cooked beef. Stir to combine evenly and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the spices are fragrant.
Assembling Tacos
- 4
Assemble the Tacos
Take a crispy taco shell and fill it with approximately 1/4 cup of the seasoned ground beef. Top with a handful of shredded lettuce, followed by a sprinkle of mexi-cheese, a drizzle of red chile velvet sauce, and a spoonful of pico de gallo.
- 5
Serve
Repeat the assembly process for all taco shells. Serve the Gringo Crunchy Tacos immediately while warm, and enjoy!
