Preparation
- 1
Chill the Glass
Start by chilling your martini glass. Fill it with ice water and set it aside while you prepare the drink.
- 2
Mix the Ingredients
In a cocktail shaker, combine 3 ounces of sake and 1 ounce of dry vermouth. You can adjust the amount of vermouth based on your taste preference.
- 3
Add Ice
Add ice cubes to the shaker, filling it halfway. This will help chill the mixture as you shake it.
- 4
Shake the Mixture
Secure the lid on the cocktail shaker and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds to properly chill and mix the ingredients.
- 5
Strain into Glass
Discard the ice water from your chilled glass. Strain the cocktail mixture into the glass using a fine mesh strainer or the strainer of the shaker.
- 6
Garnish
Garnish the drink with a cucumber ribbon and, if desired, a sprig of fresh dill for added aroma and flavor.
