Burger Assembly

Method

Preparing the Bacon

  1. 1

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, add the bacon slices and cook until they start to become crispy.

  2. 2

    Add Whisky and Brown Sugar

Pour the whisky over the cooked bacon and sprinkle with brown sugar and black pepper. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally until the bacon is caramelized. Remove from heat and set aside.

Making the Burger Patties

  1. 3

    Prepare the Patties

In a bowl, mix the ground beef with salt and black pepper. Shape the mixture into two equal-sized patties.

  2. 4

    Cook the Patties

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach the desired doneness.

Assembling the Burger

  1. 5

    Toast the Buns

While the patties are cooking, toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

  2. 6

    Add Cheese

Place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking to allow it to melt.

  3. 7

    Assemble the Burger

On the bottom half of each bun, layer the lettuce, followed by the patty with melted cheese, whisky-infused bacon, tomato slice, pickles, ketchup, and mustard. Top with the other half of the bun.
