Preparing the Burger Patties
1. Mix the Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine the Impossible™ Burger, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are evenly incorporated.
2. Form the Patties
Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a patty about ½ inch thick.
Cooking the Patties
3. Preheat the Grill or Pan
Heat a grill or a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat.
4. Cook the Patties
Place the patties on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until a nice crust forms and the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
5. Add the Cheese
In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of American cheese on each patty to melt. Cover with a lid if using a skillet to help the cheese melt.
