Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Marinade
In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and lemon juice. This will be the marinade for the chicken.
- 2
Marinate the Chicken
Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring it is fully coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 2 hours for more flavor).
Grilling
- 3
Preheat the Grill
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, approximately 375°F (190°C).
- 4
Grill the Chicken
Remove the chicken breasts from the marinade, allowing excess marinade to drip off. Place the chicken on the grill and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the chicken is no longer pink in the center.
- 5
Rest the Chicken
Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for about 5 minutes before slicing. This helps retain the juices.
