Directions

  1. 1

    Preparation

Remove the ribeye steaks from the refrigerator and let them sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking.

  2. 2

    Preheat Grill or Oven

Preheat your grill to high heat or your oven to 450°F (232°C).

  3. 3

    Season the Steak

Rub both sides of the ribeye with olive oil, then season generously with kosher salt and black pepper.

  4. 4

    Sear the Steak

Place the ribeye on the hot grill or in the oven. Sear for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting time for your preferred doneness.

  5. 5

    Add Flavors

In the last few minutes of cooking, add the crushed garlic cloves, fresh rosemary, and butter to the pan or grill. Baste the steak with the melted butter mixture.

  6. 6

    Rest the Steak

Once cooked to your liking, remove the ribeye from the grill or oven and let it rest for about 10 minutes before slicing.

  7. 7

    Serve

Slice the ribeye against the grain and serve with your favorite sides.
