Ingredients for Barn's BBQ Pork Ribs

Method

Directions for Preparing Barn's BBQ Pork Ribs

  1. 1

    Preparing the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F). Rinse the pork ribs under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Seasoning the Ribs

In a bowl, mix together brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Rub this mixture evenly over the ribs.

  3. 3

    Cooking the Ribs

Place the seasoned ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil, bone side down. Add water and apple cider vinegar to the baking sheet, then cover the ribs tightly with more foil.

  4. 4

    Slow Cooking

Bake the ribs in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, until they are tender.

  5. 5

    Applying BBQ Sauce

Remove the ribs from the oven and discard the top layer of foil. Brush the Angus Barn BBQ sauce generously over the ribs.

  6. 6

    Finishing the Ribs

Increase the oven temperature to 200°C (400°F) and return the ribs to the oven uncovered. Bake for an additional 20-30 minutes, until the sauce caramelizes.

  7. 7

    Serving

Let the ribs rest for a few minutes, then cut into portions and serve with extra BBQ sauce on the side.
