Ribs and Sauce

Method

Preparation and Cooking

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F). Rinse the pork ribs under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Remove the silver skin from the back of the ribs if necessary.

  2. 2

    Season the Ribs

In a small bowl, mix together the salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and brown sugar. Rub this seasoning mixture all over the ribs on both sides.

  3. 3

    Bake the Ribs

Place the seasoned ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Cover the ribs with another piece of foil and bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours until tender.

  4. 4

    Prepare BBQ Sauce

In a saucepan, combine the Angus Barn BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, and water. Heat over medium heat until warm, stirring occasionally.

  5. 5

    Grill the Ribs

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Once the ribs are done baking, remove them from the oven and discard the top layer of foil. Brush a generous amount of BBQ sauce over the ribs.

  6. 6

    Finish on the Grill

Place the ribs on the grill and cook for about 5-10 minutes per side, basting with more BBQ sauce, until caramelized and slightly charred.

  7. 7

    Serve

Remove the ribs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve with extra BBQ sauce on the side.
