Cook the Spaghetti
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add 12 oz of spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Make the Sauce
In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add 4 minced garlic cloves and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Add Tomatoes and Spices
Add 28 oz of crushed tomatoes, 1 teaspoon of dried oregano, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 0.5 teaspoon of black pepper to the skillet. Stir well and let simmer for 15 minutes.

Stir in 0.5 cup of chopped fresh basil and remove from heat.

Combine Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked spaghetti and the sauce. Mix until the spaghetti is evenly coated.

In a greased 9x13 inch baking dish, spread half of the spaghetti mixture. Dollop 15 oz of ricotta cheese over the top and sprinkle with 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese.

Add the remaining spaghetti mixture on top, followed by the remaining mozzarella cheese and 0.5 cup of grated parmesan cheese.

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
