Chicken Marinade

Garlic Bread

Method

Marinating the Chicken

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Whisk until well mixed.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Chicken

Place the chicken breast in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring it is fully coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, preferably 2 hours for maximum flavor.

Grilling the Chicken

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.

  2. 4

    Grill the Chicken

Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard any remaining marinade. Place the chicken breast on the grill and cook for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

Preparing Garlic Bread

  1. 5

    Mix Garlic Butter

In a small bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley. Mix until well blended.

  2. 6

    Prepare the Bread

Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over each slice of French bread.

  3. 7

    Toast the Garlic Bread

Place the slices on a baking sheet and toast in the oven under the broiler for about 2-3 minutes, or until golden brown. Watch closely to prevent burning.
