For the Grilled Chicken

For the Garlic Bread

Method

Grilling the Chicken

  1. 1

    Marinate the Chicken

In a bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Add the chicken breasts and coat well. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Grill the Chicken

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Remove chicken from the marinade and grill for about 6-7 minutes per side, or until fully cooked and internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Remove from grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing into strips.

Assembling the Salad

  1. 3

    Prepare the Salad Base

In a large salad bowl, add the mixed salad greens, halved cherry tomatoes, sliced cucumber, and thinly sliced red onion.

  2. 4

    Add the Cheese

Place the provolone cheese slices on top of the salad.

  3. 5

    Top with Chicken

Add the grilled chicken strips over the salad. Drizzle with your choice of salad dressing to taste.

Making the Garlic Bread

  1. 6

    Prepare the Garlic Butter

In a small bowl, mix softened butter with garlic powder and chopped parsley until well combined.

  2. 7

    Prepare the Bread

Slice the French bread in half lengthwise. Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over both halves.

  3. 8

    Toast the Bread

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and place the bread halves on a baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
