Method

Preparing the Chicken

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. 2

    Prepare the Breading Station

Set up a breading station with three shallow bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with a mixture of bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese, seasoned with salt and black pepper.

  3. 3

    Bread the Chicken

Coat each chicken breast in flour, dip it in the beaten eggs, and then coat it with the bread crumb mixture. Ensure an even coating.

  4. 4

    Bake the Chicken

Place the breaded chicken breasts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Drizzle with olive oil and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and golden brown.

  5. 5

    Add Cheeses

In the last 5 minutes of baking, sprinkle mozzarella cheese over each chicken breast and return to the oven until melted.

Preparing the Salad

  1. 6

    Prepare the Salad Base

In a large bowl, combine mixed salad greens, halved cherry tomatoes, and sliced cucumbers.

  2. 7

    Make the Dressing

In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, and black pepper.

  3. 8

    Toss the Salad

Drizzle the dressing over the salad and toss gently to combine.

  4. 9

    Add Cheese

Arrange provolone cheese wedges on top of the salad.

Preparing the Garlic Bread

  1. 10

    Prepare the Garlic Butter

In a small bowl, mix softened butter with garlic powder and chopped parsley until well combined.

  2. 11

    Prepare the Bread

Slice the French bread in half lengthwise and spread the garlic butter mixture evenly on both halves.

  3. 12

    Toast the Garlic Bread

Place the prepared bread on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for 10-12 minutes or until golden and crispy.
