Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Preparation of Ingredients

Slice the onion, bell peppers, and mushrooms. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Sear the Steak

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the NY sirloin steak with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Sear the steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.

  3. 3

    Sauté Vegetables

Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest. In the same skillet, add the sliced onion, bell peppers, and mushrooms. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes or until the vegetables are tender.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Dish

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the rested steak in a baking dish. Top with the sautéed vegetables, followed by the provolone cheese and tomato sauce.

  5. 5

    Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  6. 6

    Serve

Remove from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve hot.
