Sear the Steak
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the NY sirloin steak with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Sear the steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.

Assemble the Dish
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Place the rested steak in a baking dish. Top with the sautéed vegetables, followed by the provolone cheese and tomato sauce.

Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Remove from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve hot.
