1. Prepare Ingredients
Dice the onion, green bell pepper, celery, and garlic. Chop the bacon into small pieces.
2. Cook Bacon
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove and set aside, leaving the rendered fat in the skillet.
3. Sauté Vegetables
In the same skillet, add the diced onions, bell peppers, celery, and garlic. Sauté for about 5 minutes or until softened.
4. Combine Mixture
In a large bowl, combine the sautéed vegetables, diced clams, cooked bacon, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, olive oil, red pepper flakes, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Mix well.
5. Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
