Meatballs

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Make the Meatballs

In a large bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, parmesan cheese, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined. Form into two equal-sized meatballs.

  2. 2

    Cook the Meatballs

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the meatballs until browned on all sides, about 8-10 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.

  3. 3

    Make the Sauce

In the same skillet, add olive oil and heat over medium heat. Add crushed tomatoes, basil, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Stir well and let simmer for 5-10 minutes.

  4. 4

    Combine

Return the meatballs to the skillet with the sauce. Spoon sauce over the meatballs, and top with provolone cheese.

  5. 5

    Melt the Cheese

Cover the skillet and let cook for an additional 5 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
