Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper. Dredge each breast in flour, shaking off the excess.
- 2
Sear the Chicken
In a large skillet, heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.
- 3
Make the Sauce
In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Pour in the white wine, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- 4
Finish the Sauce
Add lemon juice and chicken broth to the skillet. Let it simmer for another 5 minutes. Stir in the remaining butter until melted and the sauce thickens slightly.
