Directions
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper. Dredge each chicken breast first in flour, then dip into beaten eggs, and finally coat with bread crumbs.
- 2
Cook the Chicken
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the breaded chicken breasts and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish.
- 3
Add Sauce and Cheese
Pour the homemade tomato sauce over the chicken breasts, then top with slices of provolone cheese.
- 4
Bake the Chicken
Bake the chicken in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
- 5
Cook the Pasta
While the chicken is baking, cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- 6
Serve
Place the cooked pasta on a plate, top with the chicken parmesan, and garnish with fresh basil. Enjoy!
